Do You Communicate or Connect?
Do you communicate or connect? There's a difference. I live for connection. When I have all my peeps under one roof and we're sitting around the table talking and laughing, I'm in my happy place. 💓
We live in a world that is full of distractions. There's a lot of noise around us which is why connection is even more important. Everyone wants to feel connected to something or someone. It's human nature, even if you're an introvert. I've been told that I have a gift for connecting with people. Maybe that's because I can talk to anyone. My family knows this well. They roll their eyes when I strike up a conversation with a stranger.
Connection is at the core of my boudoir business. A boudoir photoshoot may seem daunting and intimidating (most life-changing adventures are!) This is where my ability to connect comes in handy.
👉 All the nerves I had going into this shoot were gone the second I walked in the door.
👉 Karen was so professional and immediately eased my nerves and made me feel comfortable and excited to do my shoot.
👉 She welcomed me and made me feel comfortable and beautiful.
👉 When I left I felt like I had spent the day with an old friend.
👉 Karen is so friendly, welcoming and joyful to be around.
👉 I instantly felt comfortable with Karen and her makeup artists (Yes, I pick my team carefully).
👉 She made me feel so comfortable and confident.
Maybe you're on the fence about a boudoir shoot. I get it. But please know if you're considering this, I promise you'll be able to leave the nerves at the door and I'll welcome you into my world of connection.
